lululemon Says “Hello” to Türkiye
Beloved by active lifestyle enthusiasts worldwide, lululemon has made a dynamic entrance into the Turkish market with an inspiring series of movement-focused events held in Istanbul. More than just opening stores, lululemon introduced its holistic lifestyle centered on movement, mindfulness, and community—marking the beginning of a much broader story in Türkiye.
While lululemon’s EMEA Senior Vice President Sarah Clark and the brand’s global representatives expressed their excitement about being in Türkiye, Fiba Retail CEO Batur Can shared, “We’re thrilled to lead lululemon’s retail journey in Türkiye and to say ‘hello’ together. With our two stores in Istanbul and our online sales channels, we aim to build a strong community by bringing together sports and wellness enthusiasts and offering an inspiring shopping experience.”
Entering Türkiye’s activewear retail space through a partnership with Fiba Retail, lululemon kicked off its journey with an energetic launch. Over the course of three days, the brand brought the power of movement and community to Istanbul through five different athletic events, a store opening, and an inspiring launch gathering.
On the launch day at Swissôtel The Bosphorus, a yoga session led by Ambassador Fırat Tosun unfolded where the sky met the grass. Following opening remarks from EMEA SVP Sarah Clark and Global Ambassador Akın Akman, lululemon hosted an unforgettable performance-style workout on the tennis courts led by Akman. More than 300 attendees—including celebrities, athletes, fitness influencers, and media—took part.
Throughout the week, lululemon kept the momentum going with a cycling session at Urban Active featuring Akın Akman, a yoga event at the Clubhouse with Ambassador Fırat Tosun, and closed the week with a run in Istanbul’s iconic running hub, Bebek, alongside the Urban Active running team.
New Store Coming in June: Akasya
lululemon opened its first store in İstinyePark and continues to engage visitors with an experiential pop-up space shaped like the iconic lululemon logo, located in the mall’s central area—available through mid-June.
lululemon’s journey, which began with İstinyePark and its online sales platform, will expand further with the opening of the Akasya store in June—inviting even more people into the brand’s inspiring world and growing a new community united by the power of movement.
