Gelecek Varlık Touches the Lives of 20 Women in Its 20th Year

A Fresh Start in Professional Life with “Your Future”

Gelecek Varlık Yönetimi has crowned its 20th anniversary with a corporate social responsibility project. Through the “Your Future” mentoring program implemented in collaboration with the YenidenBiz Association, women who have had to take a break from their careers will be supported on their journey back into professional life. Stating that the project will grow wave by wave each year, Sezin Ünlüdoğan, General Manager of Gelecek Varlık Yönetimi, announced that they aim to reach more women and increase the social impact created.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, Gelecek Varlık Yönetimi, the leader in the asset management sector, has launched its corporate social responsibility project, the “Your Future” mentoring program. Carried out in cooperation with the YenidenBiz Association, the project aims to provide direct support to women who had to pause their careers for various reasons, helping them return to the workforce. Within the scope of the program, 20 executives from the company will mentor 20 women, offering support for their reintegration into professional life.

The “Your Future” mentoring program was introduced at an event attended by both mentors and mentees. During her opening speech, Sezin Ünlüdoğan, General Manager of Gelecek Varlık Yönetimi, said: “We continue to contribute to the Turkish economy with our role in reintegrating individuals and institutions into the economic system. By carrying this mission into the social sphere, we complement the economic value we create with social value. According to a study conducted under the Fiba Group’s ‘Remove the Burden’ project, women can become disconnected from professional life due to the one-sided burden of care responsibilities. As part of the solution, we say ‘Remove the Burden’ with our ‘Your Future’ project. Your Future will be a model of solidarity that reflects our 20 years of experience and mission.”

Reaching More Women Every Year

Emphasizing that the “Your Future” mentoring program is not only a social responsibility initiative but also a long-term journey that will inspire social transformation, Ünlüdoğan added: “This program, which we began with 20 women in its first year, will grow wave by wave in the coming years, reaching many more women. ‘Your Future,’ which contributes to gender equality, aims to encourage women’s re-participation in economic life while also strengthening internal leadership culture.” Within the program, 20 volunteer managers from various departments of Gelecek Varlık will be paired one-on-one with 20 women who paused their careers, guiding them in their professional development. Monthly mentoring meetings will provide opportunities not only for knowledge and experience sharing but also for mutual learning and growth.
